iMessage
MCP server implementation by Wyatt Johnson that provides AI assistants with read-only access to macOS iMessage data through six specialized tools for searching messages, retrieving conversations, and accessing contact information. Built as a Deno monorepo with two packages - a core library for direct iMessage database access and an MCP server wrapper - the implementation directly queries the macOS Messages SQLite database and AddressBook databases using functional programming patterns with comprehensive pagination support. The server handles Apple's unique timestamp format conversion, decodes NSAttributedString message content, normalizes phone numbers for iMessage handle matching, and includes lazy database initialization with proper error handling, making it valuable for users wanting conversational access to their message history, contact correlation, and message analytics without requiring complex database knowledge or manual file access.
