Universal SQL
Universal SQL MCP Server provides secure access to multiple SQL database engines through a unified interface, supporting MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, and SQL Server with database-specific optimizations for each engine. Built with FastMCP and SQLAlchemy, it offers controlled read/write operations with built-in security restrictions, comprehensive schema inspection including tables, columns, indexes and constraints, and environment-based configuration with connection pooling and timeout management. The implementation separates read and write operations into distinct tools, blocks dangerous SQL operations like DELETE and DROP, and includes Docker configurations for development and production deployment, making it valuable for querying databases, analyzing schemas, or performing controlled data operations across different database platforms without requiring database-specific implementations.
Composite of vulnerability cleanliness, spec conformance, provenance, stability, and usage signals — scanned and weighted by Cognium. Human and agent signals are tracked separately. Last scanned 2026-09-01.
