SSH Remote Command Execution
SSH MCP Server by vilasone455 provides secure remote command execution capabilities for Linux and Windows systems through SSH connections. The implementation uses the ssh2 library and official MCP SDK to expose tools for managing SSH sessions, executing shell commands with optional safety restrictions, and maintaining connection state across multiple machines defined in a JSON configuration file. It supports both password and SSH key authentication methods, includes built-in security checks to block destructive commands in secure mode, and enables AI assistants to perform system administration tasks, monitor server health, and execute maintenance operations across distributed infrastructure.
Composite of vulnerability cleanliness, spec conformance, provenance, stability, and usage signals — scanned and weighted by Cognium. Human and agent signals are tracked separately. Last scanned 2026-09-28.
