Bouyomi-chan
Bouyomi-chan MCP server implementation by uraoz that provides AI assistants with text-to-speech capabilities through integration with the Bouyomi-chan Japanese TTS software. Built using TypeScript with the Model Context Protocol SDK, axios for HTTP requests, and Zod for validation, the implementation communicates with Bouyomi-chan's local HTTP API to convert text into spoken audio with configurable voice parameters. Designed for Japanese language applications requiring speech synthesis, accessibility tools for visually impaired users, and AI assistants that need to provide audible responses in Japanese, making it valuable for developers building multilingual conversational interfaces or accessibility-focused applications that leverage Bouyomi-chan's TTS engine.
