Downturn

Downturn converts web pages and HTML to clean Markdown using Mozilla Readability and Turndown, stripping navigation, ads, and other clutter. Two MCP tools are provided: url_to_markdown and html_to_markdown. The same codebase doubles as a full web browser UI with tab management, bookmarks, Wikipedia search, and local file support. Zero runtime npm dependencies; deployable via Node.js or Cloudflare Workers.
