Gmail MCP Server provides a clean, simplified interface for AI assistants to access Gmail emails through OAuth2 authentication. Built in Rust by Hamze Ghalebi, it automatically handles authentication flows, fetches emails from the inbox, and processes HTML content into plain text while removing URLs for better readability. The server exposes a single tool that allows specifying the number of emails to retrieve (1-500) and returns structured email data including sender, subject, snippet, and body content. Particularly useful for applications requiring email monitoring, content analysis, or automated email processing workflows without dealing with the complexities of the Gmail API directly.
