Domain Checker
This MCP server provides domain research capabilities through integration with multiple free APIs and services, enabling AI agents to perform domain availability checks, WHOIS lookups via RDAP protocol, DNS record retrieval, SSL certificate analysis, and expired domain discovery. Built using Python with httpx, dnspython, and BeautifulSoup, it aggregates data from sources like DomainsDB, Dynadot, NameJet, and SnapNames for expired domain searches, uses Cloudflare DNS-over-HTTPS for reliable DNS queries, and performs direct SSL socket connections for certificate validation. The implementation requires no API keys and fetches fresh data on every request, making it valuable for domain investment research, security auditing, competitive analysis, and building AI assistants that need comprehensive domain intelligence without manual lookup processes.
Composite of vulnerability cleanliness, spec conformance, provenance, stability, and usage signals — scanned and weighted by Cognium. Human and agent signals are tracked separately. Last scanned 2026-09-02.
