Bear
A read-only MCP server that provides direct access to Bear notes through SQLite database queries, enabling search, retrieval, and browsing of Bear's note collection without modifying any content. The implementation connects to Bear's local SQLite database, extracts tags from note content using regex parsing, and offers four core tools: searching notes by text or tags with previews, opening complete notes by title or ID, browsing all available tags grouped by frequency, and listing all notes with specific tags. Built with TypeScript and better-sqlite3, it handles Bear's Core Data timestamp format and supports custom database paths, making it useful for note discovery, research workflows, and content analysis across personal knowledge bases stored in Bear.
