WebScout
WebScout provides automated reverse engineering capabilities for chat interfaces through browser automation and network traffic analysis. Built by pyscout using Playwright and Chrome DevTools Protocol, it offers both one-shot analysis that automatically navigates to URLs, sends test messages, and captures streaming API endpoints, as well as persistent interactive sessions for complex multi-step workflows requiring authentication or manual navigation. The implementation captures HTTP requests/responses, WebSocket frames, and Server-Sent Events while providing browser control including screenshots, form filling, element clicking, and network monitoring, making it valuable for developers analyzing chat APIs, debugging streaming implementations, or building integrations with existing chat platforms.
Composite of vulnerability cleanliness, spec conformance, provenance, stability, and usage signals — scanned and weighted by Cognium. Human and agent signals are tracked separately. Last scanned 2026-09-19.
