Preflight iOS gives AI coding agents full programmatic control over iOS Simulators via 82 specialized tools spanning 14 categories. Capabilities include touch gestures, text input, accessibility tree inspection, screenshot capture, video recording, crash log retrieval, push notification simulation, location spoofing, and biometric testing. It uses Facebook's idb for touch injection to avoid interfering with the Mac cursor during automation. The package is available on npm as preflight-ios-mcp and works with Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code, and other MCP-compatible clients.
