The Dead Internet
The Dead Internet is a complete simulated local network environment that creates an isolated internet ecosystem with its own services, domains, and AI agents. Built using Docker and FastAPI, it implements a full stack including DNS resolution (.psx domains), identity management, financial systems (VOX credits), social networking (Echo), search engine (Nexus with semantic search), email, cloud hosting (Aether), and payment processing (Flux). The system includes an autonomous agents framework that allows AI entities to interact with all services, complete with authentication, proxy routing, and persistent storage. Designed for testing AI agent behaviors in a controlled environment, it provides a realistic internet simulation where agents can register accounts, make payments, post content, send emails, and deploy applications without external dependencies or real-world consequences.
Composite of vulnerability cleanliness, spec conformance, provenance, stability, and usage signals — scanned and weighted by Cognium. Human and agent signals are tracked separately. Last scanned 2026-09-19.
