Santa Binary Authorization
Santa-MCP is a Proof of Concept server that enables AI assistants to interact with Santa, a binary authorization system for macOS. Developed by Peter Markowsky, it provides tools for querying Santa's status, syncing rules, retrieving file information, and checking version details through the Model Context Protocol. The implementation wraps the santactl command-line utility, making Santa's security features accessible to LLMs like Claude Desktop. This server is particularly useful for security professionals who want to investigate why applications are being blocked or analyze file signatures without leaving their AI assistant interface.
