Sequential Thinking
Sequential Thinking MCP provides a lightweight meta-cognition tool that enables AI agents to perform structured, step-by-step problem-solving through thought logging. Built with FastMCP and designed by philogicae, it exposes a single 'think' tool that captures the agent's reasoning process, tracks progress through numbered thoughts, recommends next tools to use, and maintains awareness of remaining tasks. This implementation differs from traditional sequential thinking approaches by focusing purely on virtual thought logging rather than actual execution, making it suitable for any LLM to develop better planning habits, self-correction capabilities, and transparent reasoning workflows in complex multi-step tasks.
Composite of vulnerability cleanliness, spec conformance, provenance, stability, and usage signals — scanned and weighted by Cognium. Human and agent signals are tracked separately. Last scanned 2026-09-28.
