Bear Notes
This Bear Notes MCP server provides direct access to Bear App's SQLite database on macOS, enabling AI assistants to search, retrieve, and analyze personal notes through natural language queries. Built with FastMCP and Python, it offers specialized tools for finding notes by content, title, or tags, extracting code blocks from technical notes, discovering Kubernetes manifests and programming examples, and retrieving recently modified notes with full metadata including word counts and creation dates. The implementation is particularly valuable for developers and technical users who store code snippets, documentation, and project notes in Bear and want to leverage AI assistance for knowledge retrieval and code discovery workflows without leaving their conversation context.
Composite of vulnerability cleanliness, spec conformance, provenance, stability, and usage signals — scanned and weighted by Cognium. Human and agent signals are tracked separately. Last scanned 2026-09-28.
