La Forge
La Forge is a visual debugging server for AI coding assistants that addresses the challenge of CSS rendering issues that are not visible in source code alone. Using the Chrome DevTools Protocol, it provides screenshot capture with pixel-level diffing, computed style extraction and comparison, CSS inheritance chain analysis, and structured verification reports. The server connects to Chrome instances via remote debugging to capture reference screenshots, compare current states against saved baselines, detect visual differences in specific page regions, and analyze CSS rule conflicts, making it useful for validating layout changes, debugging responsive designs, and ensuring visual consistency across development iterations.
