JSON Logs
This MCP server provides JSON log file analysis capabilities, enabling AI assistants to query, filter, and aggregate structured Python application logs stored locally. Built by Michael Freeman using Python with the MCP SDK, it reads JSON log files from a configurable directory (defaulting to /var/log/mcp/json_logs) and expects entries with standard fields like timestamp, level, message, module, function, and line number. The implementation offers tools for searching logs by level, module, function, message content, and time ranges, aggregating data by various criteria (level, module, function, hour), generating overall statistics, and serving individual log files as resources, making it valuable for debugging Python applications, monitoring system behavior over time, and analyzing application performance patterns through structured log data.
Composite of vulnerability cleanliness, spec conformance, provenance, stability, and usage signals — scanned and weighted by Cognium. Human and agent signals are tracked separately.
