SEC EDGAR
SEC EDGAR MCP server provides AI assistants with direct access to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's EDGAR database for retrieving and analyzing public company filings. The implementation offers tools for searching companies by name or ticker, downloading specific filings like 10-K and 10-Q reports, accessing structured financial data through XBRL endpoints, and retrieving company facts and concepts. Built with Python using aiohttp for async operations, it includes comprehensive error handling, rate limiting compliance, and support for both raw document downloads and structured financial data extraction, making it valuable for financial analysis, due diligence research, and automated compliance monitoring workflows.
Composite of vulnerability cleanliness, spec conformance, provenance, stability, and usage signals — scanned and weighted by Cognium. Human and agent signals are tracked separately. Last scanned 2026-09-19.
