ScholarMCP
Provides comprehensive literature research capabilities by integrating Google Scholar scraping with academic APIs (OpenAlex, Crossref, Semantic Scholar) to enable federated paper search, author profile retrieval, and full-text PDF ingestion with structured extraction. Features a multi-tier parsing pipeline (GROBID, Python sidecar, simple fallback) for document processing, citation management tools for building bibliographies and validating manuscript references, and granular content extraction for claims, methods, and limitations from parsed papers. Supports both stdio and HTTP transports with configurable rate limiting.
Composite of vulnerability cleanliness, spec conformance, provenance, stability, and usage signals — scanned and weighted by Cognium. Human and agent signals are tracked separately. Last scanned 2026-09-02.
