TMDB
This TMDB MCP server provides AI assistants with access to The Movie Database API for comprehensive film and television data queries, enabling natural language exploration of entertainment content through six specialized tools. The implementation supports finding collaborations between actors or crew members across projects, retrieving filtered filmographies by genre and job role, and discovering shared cast/crew between different movies, with built-in genre translation and intelligent person search that prioritizes actors when searching cast roles. Built with TypeScript and featuring robust error handling, caching of genre data, and support for multiple languages, it's particularly valuable for entertainment research, film analysis, and discovering connections within the movie industry ecosystem.
Composite of vulnerability cleanliness, spec conformance, provenance, stability, and usage signals — scanned and weighted by Cognium. Human and agent signals are tracked separately. Last scanned 2026-09-19.
