README Generator
A README generator MCP server that automatically analyzes project directories to create well-formatted, professional README.md files with badges, emojis, and comprehensive sections. The server provides four tools: reading project structure with configurable depth and ignore patterns, reading individual files, analyzing projects to extract metadata from package.json and detect technologies (Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Rust, Go, Java, Docker), and generating complete READMs with installation instructions, usage examples, project structure visualization, and dependency listings. Built with TypeScript and the MCP SDK, it supports multiple programming languages and automatically formats directory structures, making it useful for developers who want to quickly generate professional documentation for their projects without manual formatting.
Composite of vulnerability cleanliness, spec conformance, provenance, stability, and usage signals — scanned and weighted by Cognium. Human and agent signals are tracked separately. Last scanned 2026-09-28.
