Abaqus/CAE GUI Automation
Abaqus MCP Server enables AI assistants to interact with running Abaqus/CAE finite element analysis software through GUI automation. Built with Python using pywinauto and the FastMCP framework, it provides tools to execute Python scripts within an existing Abaqus session via the 'File -> Run Script...' menu and retrieve message log information from the Abaqus interface. The implementation uses window detection and UI control manipulation to automate interactions that would normally require manual input, making it valuable for engineers and analysts who want to programmatically control Abaqus/CAE operations through AI assistance without modifying the core application.
Composite of vulnerability cleanliness, spec conformance, provenance, stability, and usage signals — scanned and weighted by Cognium. Human and agent signals are tracked separately. Last scanned 2026-09-28.
