IDA Pro
This MCP server provides integration with IDA Pro (Interactive Disassembler) through a proxy architecture that bridges MCP clients with running IDA instances via Server-Sent Events. The implementation uses a two-tier design where a Python proxy process (ida_mcp_proxy.py) runs outside IDA and communicates with an SSE server running within the IDA environment, enabling external tools and AI assistants to interact with disassembly data, analysis results, and reverse engineering workflows. Built using FastMCP for the server framework, it allows developers to programmatically access IDA's powerful binary analysis capabilities through standardized MCP protocols, making it valuable for automating reverse engineering tasks, integrating disassembly workflows with AI-powered analysis tools, or building custom security research pipelines that need programmatic access to IDA's extensive binary analysis features.
