Memex
MEMEX is an MCP server for managing a knowledge base of technical guides and contexts (prompts/personas/conventions), inspired by Vannevar Bush's vision of augmented memory. Built in PHP with Symfony components, it provides tools for creating, retrieving, updating, deleting, listing, and semantically searching markdown-based content stored in a local file system structure. The implementation uses vector embeddings for semantic search capabilities and supports both guides (technical documentation) and contexts (AI prompts and personas), making it useful for developers and teams who want to maintain and query their accumulated knowledge and AI interaction patterns through a structured, searchable interface.
Composite of vulnerability cleanliness, spec conformance, provenance, stability, and usage signals — scanned and weighted by Cognium. Human and agent signals are tracked separately.
