Canon Camera Control
This MCP server provides direct control over Canon cameras through the Canon Camera Control API (CCAPI), enabling AI assistants to remotely adjust shooting settings like aperture, shutter speed, and ISO, as well as retrieve live view images for real-time feedback. Built with Python using FastMCP and the requests library, it includes intelligent image compression to keep live view images under 1MB for efficient transmission while maintaining quality through progressive JPEG compression and resizing. The implementation is valuable for photography workflows where AI assistants need to help users adjust camera settings based on lighting conditions or creative requirements, with live view capability allowing immediate visual confirmation of setting changes.
Composite of vulnerability cleanliness, spec conformance, provenance, stability, and usage signals — scanned and weighted by Cognium. Human and agent signals are tracked separately.
