AWS Cost Explorer
This serverless MCP server implementation provides AI assistants with AWS Cost Explorer capabilities through a complete OAuth 2.0 authenticated infrastructure built on AWS Lambda, CloudFront, and Cognito. Built using TypeScript with AWS CDK for infrastructure as code, it features seven specialized cost analysis tools including cost and usage retrieval, forecasting, dimension discovery, and cost comparison drivers, all accessible through natural language prompts with proper filtering and grouping capabilities. The implementation includes custom streamable HTTP transport with Server-Sent Events for real-time communication, RFC-compliant OAuth 2.0 flows with dynamic client registration, and session management optimized for serverless environments, making it valuable for financial analysis workflows, cloud cost optimization, and building AI assistants that need programmatic access to AWS billing data without manual console navigation.
Composite of vulnerability cleanliness, spec conformance, provenance, stability, and usage signals — scanned and weighted by Cognium. Human and agent signals are tracked separately. Last scanned 2026-09-19.
