Electron Desktop Automation
The Electron MCP Server by Halil Ural provides automation and management capabilities for Electron desktop applications through Chrome DevTools Protocol integration. It connects to running Electron apps via remote debugging ports (typically 9222) to enable screenshot capture with base64 image data for AI analysis, JavaScript command execution for DOM interaction and button clicking, console log monitoring, and window information retrieval. The server automatically detects various Electron project types including Vite, Webpack, and React-based applications, intelligently launching them with appropriate debugging configurations, making it valuable for automated testing, desktop app debugging, and AI-assisted application interaction workflows.
