EPICS Process Variable Bridge
EPICS-MCP-Server provides a bridge between AI assistants and EPICS (Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System) process variables, enabling real-time monitoring and control of industrial systems. Built with Python and pyepics, it exposes tools for getting PV values, setting PV values, and retrieving detailed PV information through a standardized interface. The server implements robust error handling with detailed logging, supports timeout configuration, and can be easily integrated with LangChain-based agents, making it valuable for engineers and operators who need their AI assistants to interact with EPICS-controlled hardware systems without writing custom integration code.
Composite of vulnerability cleanliness, spec conformance, provenance, stability, and usage signals — scanned and weighted by Cognium. Human and agent signals are tracked separately. Last scanned 2026-09-28.
