End-of-Life API
This EOL MCP server, developed by the EOL MCP Server team, provides end-of-life status checks for software using the endoflife.date API. Built with TypeScript and leveraging the Model Context Protocol SDK, it offers a standardized interface for querying software lifecycle information. The implementation focuses on simplicity and ease of use, with proper error handling and TypeScript type safety. It's particularly useful for developers, system administrators, and AI assistants needing to assess software obsolescence risks, enabling use cases such as dependency management, security auditing, and upgrade planning without directly interacting with the endoflife.date API.
Composite of vulnerability cleanliness, spec conformance, provenance, stability, and usage signals — scanned and weighted by Cognium. Human and agent signals are tracked separately. Last scanned 2026-09-19.
