CyberChef
CyberChef-MCP converts the popular CyberChef web application into an MCP server, exposing over 300 cryptographic, encoding, compression, and data analysis operations as individual tools for AI agents. Built by doublegate using Node.js and the MCP SDK, it wraps CyberChef's existing Node.js API to provide both atomic operations (like Base64 encoding or AES decryption) and a meta-tool for executing complex multi-step recipes. The Docker-based implementation includes patches for Node.js v22 compatibility and dynamically generates tool schemas from CyberChef's operation configuration, making it valuable for cybersecurity analysis, data transformation workflows, and forensic investigations where AI agents need access to specialized encoding and cryptographic functions.
Composite of vulnerability cleanliness, spec conformance, provenance, stability, and usage signals — scanned and weighted by Cognium. Human and agent signals are tracked separately. Last scanned 2026-09-19.
