Cargo
This MCP server provides AI assistants with access to Rust crate documentation, version information, and workspace metadata through integrated rustdoc JSON generation, crates.io API access, and cargo metadata parsing. Built by Cameron Bytheway using Rust with the rmcp SDK, it offers tools for searching workspace crates, retrieving crate versions and features from crates.io, and searching documentation within specific crates using fuzzy matching algorithms. The implementation generates rustdoc JSON using nightly toolchains, caches results for performance, and supports both local workspace analysis and remote crate documentation access, serving Rust developers needing AI assistance with dependency management, API exploration, and project structure analysis.
Composite of vulnerability cleanliness, spec conformance, provenance, stability, and usage signals — scanned and weighted by Cognium. Human and agent signals are tracked separately. Last scanned 2026-09-19.
