BuiltWith
The BuiltWith MCP Server provides AI assistants with access to BuiltWith's technology detection API, allowing them to identify web technologies used on specified domains. Developed by BuiltWith Pty Ltd under MIT license, this JavaScript implementation uses the Model Context Protocol SDK to expose a single tool, 'domain-lookup', which retrieves live technology data from websites including names, descriptions, and categorization. The server communicates via stdio transport and includes robust error handling for API responses. This implementation is particularly valuable for digital marketers, competitive analysts, and developers who need to quickly analyze technology stacks without leaving their conversation context.
