STRING Database
Provides access to the STRING protein interaction database through six comprehensive tools for protein network analysis, functional enrichment, and comparative genomics. Built by Augmented Nature, the server integrates with STRING's REST API to enable protein interaction discovery, network construction with confidence scoring, GO/KEGG pathway enrichment analysis, cross-species homolog identification, and detailed protein annotation retrieval across over 5000 organisms. Designed for systems biology workflows, it complements other bioinformatics servers like UniProt and PDB to provide a complete sequence-structure-interaction-function analysis pipeline for researchers studying protein networks, molecular pathways, and evolutionary relationships.
Composite of vulnerability cleanliness, spec conformance, provenance, stability, and usage signals — scanned and weighted by Cognium. Human and agent signals are tracked separately. Last scanned 2026-09-28.
