PubMed Research
Scholarly research MCP server built by aringadre76 that provides AI assistants with access to PubMed's biomedical literature database through five core tools: search_papers for querying academic papers with filters for date ranges, journals, and authors; get_paper_by_id and get_paper_details for retrieving specific papers by PMID; get_citation for generating formatted citations in BibTeX, EndNote, APA, MLA, and RIS formats; and get_citation_count for tracking paper impact metrics. The implementation uses TypeScript with the MCP SDK and integrates directly with NCBI's E-utilities API, handling XML parsing and rate limiting while supporting comprehensive metadata extraction including abstracts, author lists, DOIs, and publication details. Designed for researchers conducting literature reviews, academics needing programmatic access to biomedical papers, and AI applications requiring structured access to scientific publications with proper citation formatting capabilities.
Composite of vulnerability cleanliness, spec conformance, provenance, stability, and usage signals — scanned and weighted by Cognium. Human and agent signals are tracked separately.
