# magpie-search

> Use this tool when you need to search across multiple sources and formats, such as transcripts, files, and the web, to find relevant information. Magpie-search solves the problem of fragmented information by fusing results from various sources into one ranked answer, using trust-weighted ranking and five search modes. It takes in a query and returns a ranked list of results, making it ideal for use cases where comprehensive and accurate search results are needed, all while running locally on your machine.
