## Description

BMAD Storage Gateway decouples BMAD (Build Me A Dream) agent workflows from direct filesystem access by routing all artifact I/O through a protocol-level abstraction layer. The stdio server exposes a three-tier API: raw storage operations (read, write, patch, list), structured business documents with sections and metadata, and full CRUD for agile artifacts like epics and user stories with acceptance criteria and status lifecycle. Artifacts are addressed using a bmad:// URI scheme, and two switchable filesystem providers allow backend selection through a single configuration change. A runtime shim intercepts standard file operations and transparently redirects them to the storage gateway, enabling existing BMAD workflows to run unmodified while gaining observable, auditable artifact management.
