> Astro-mcp — maniasacha-astro-mcp. Use this tool when you need to analyze astronomical data with advanced reduction techniques, such as inspecting FITS files, performing aperture photometry, and extracting spectra. Astro-mcp provides AI assistants with a local server for real astronomical data reduction, solving problems in astronomy research and data analysis. It takes in astronomical data files and outputs reduced data products, such as light curves and source detections, through an interface powered by Astropy, Photutils, and Lightkurve.
